I'm an award-winning entrepreneur, recognised as one of the UK’s most candid voices on what it really takes to build, scale and exit businesses.
I'm best known for founding Yatter, one of the UK’s leading paid advertising agencies. I led the company to an acquisition by Velstar Group within just three years (and by the age of 30).
Now I'm the CEO of Talo, an international keynote speaker and advisor to a small number of founders.

The story
From the Shetland Islands to a seven-figure exit.
I left Shetland at 18 with more ambition than direction.
Manchester came first, then Edinburgh, where I launched a fitness business and quickly noticed something: many brilliant coaches and health professionals were terrible at getting customers.
So I taught myself paid advertising.
What started as a personal brand around being the “Facebook ads guy” eventually became Yatter, a performance marketing agency working with brands including Chelsea FC, StreamYard and Slater Menswear.
Over the next three years, we built the team, grew the business and became Scotland's leading paid advertising agency, managing over £10m a year for our clients.
In 2024, Velstar Group acquired Yatter in a seven-figure deal.
I took some time off, spent more time with my family and told myself I would enjoy the break. But I couldn't resist rolling up the sleeves and building again.
What I'm working on
Today, I’m the CEO of Talo, a precision health brand focused on making better healthcare simpler and more accessible.
I also speak at events about entrepreneurship, growth, leadership and what building a business actually looks like behind the polished version.
Alongside Talo and speaking, I advise a small number of founders who want to make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes and build businesses that can scale beyond them.
