Business Overview:
Fat Pony Ltd is an award-winning Facebook advertising agency based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are an official Facebook Marketing Partner, managing over $1m in client spend each year. We also own the Funnel Academy, a leading online membership for businesses who want to learn how to advertise themselves.
Role Overview
We’re now on the lookout for an operations executive who will be focussed on driving growth in the business (across our clients and online training programmes) as well as improving operating processes and systems.
Working directly with the founder and managing director, you will be a driven, self-motivated person with exceptional English and organisational skills. Using your own initiative, you will be able to adapt quickly to situations (as is the nature in a small startup) and put your all into everything you do.
What you will be doing:
- Liaising with the team to ensure completion of projects and tasks
- Management of business projects, such as content production and driving business growth
- Client Communications
- Onboarding of new clients
- Communication and management of client accounts
- Management of membership & courses
- Developing a content strategy/calendar for our membership
- Management of external workshop providers
- Process improvement including, but not limited to:
- Creation and management of referral systems
- Onboarding clients
- Sales systems
- Streamline operating model
- Email segmentation & marketing
- Leading team meetings
- Other tasks not otherwise listed here
Person Specification: Key Skills & Qualifications:
Must-haves:
- Process and systems orientated thinker
- Great time management organisational skills
- Proven team leadership skills and ability to delegate
- Knowledge of marketing tools: management of websites, email marketing software and project management tools.
- Proven ability in excellent creative written English
- A keen design eye
- Superb IT skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative
Nice to haves:
- Has a marketing background – either degree or work experience
- Has experience working with client-led business and/or online products
- Has built a social media following (or played a part in growing one)
